The most effective way to ensure safety is to take every precaution to prevent accidents from happening. Peomentum provides safety briefings before every courses. Safety briefings focus on the followings:
- Personal health conditions including medication, hydration and physical fitness.
- Natural environmental conditions like how to deal with extreme temperatures, prevention of sun burn and mosquito bites etc.
- Equipments requirement and preparation in relation to the journey and activities.
If Typhoon Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is hosted 3 hours before , the program will be postponed. For the Typhoon Signal No.1 or No.3, Yellow or Red Rainstorm Warning, the program can be adjusted and operated in indoor area. Those outdoor activities will be replaced by indoor initiative games activities and challenges. When the warning is cancelled, Peomentum will still observe and monitor the weather situation. If thunderstorm signal is hoisted, all sea-based activities will be postponed until Project Manager gives clearance. Land activities will be based on the weather situation.
All trainers will be equipped with first aid kit and electronic devices. They are good responder for accidents in wilderness. All trainers will have a first aid kit at all times and an electronic means of calling for assistance from each of the activity locations. Whenever possible all incidents accidents or injuries will immediately be reported to the client’s representative. Treatment and response plan will be carried out with their direction and assistance as required.
